More than just a conventional design
Together with MAN, we developed the cluster concept and design within 6 months, from the style definition to the final specification ready for implementation. The result is a truck with a unique and memorable cluster design that boosts the brand experience. The HMI concept includes many innovative highlights that differentiate it from the interaction concept of conventional vehicles, such as splitting the speed and power meters to make room for the main menu in the display centre. The cluster features easy-to-understand visual graphics. The urbanity of the vehicle is visually recognisable.
The cluster includes an easily accessible menu for various vehicle settings. In addition, an animated 3D truck is one of the highlights of the fully digital cluster. This shows vehicle components and corresponding information about them. This supports the driver in always having access to the vehicle status with minimal distraction. Another special feature is the calmed mode. When activated, only the essential information for the driver is displayed, which can help the driver do his demanding job of navigating through crowded urban traffic. The charging status can be shown on the digital display and checked in real time during the charging process.
